Week 1 is in the books

Week 1 is done, some teams want to forget about it while other teams can't help to feel oh so good about their chances the rest of the way... (for example the Altoona Giants looked pretty damn good with their 149.68 points... 1st place... atop of everybody else... dominant). But anyways... lets recap this week, shall we?

Most impressive: No need to brag but don't mind if I do... the Altoona Giants scored the most this week therefore the best looking manager has the best looking team as of right now this second. Knowing the Giants past... this could very well be a huge fluke that will blow up in my face... so why not enjoy while it lasts, right?

Closest call of the week: NITTANY LIONS won by the skin of his teeth... the Alaska Ice Bashers almost did the impossible... win a game. The Bashers lost by a total of 0.37 points. If it wasn't for a Ryan Matthews fumble, this blog would have been dedicated to the bashing of the commish all week long... but that dream has died and I am quite upset... but the Altoona Giants are in 1st, so yeah life is good. Just a warning for the first person to lose to Alaska; be prepared to have a custom post dedicated to you and your awesomeness on the Altoona View, brought to you by Hoveround power chair.

Bottom feeder of the week: red moon cards. Lost by 63.91 points to yours truly. They didn't show up at the draft last year and stepped up their game this year by coming for about 5 rounds... major improvement.

Other interesting tidbits:

The Moore family (Altoona Giants, NITTANY LIONS, Mean Machine) and the Light Family (WaLLy'S wArRiOrZzZ, Da MoUnTaInEeRz!!!) all won their first weeks games respectively. But wait isn't there another Light??...... Yes, my bad, GiAnTs RuLe!!! had to be that guy and make my stat less interesting. He lost. As long as he finises 4th place, it's a win for him.

That's all I got... so I guess it was a other interesting tidbit.

Be sure to come back on Thursday night or Friday morning... don't hold me to a day... for the WEEK 2 PREVIEW where I'll do exactly what the title says. Also the week 2 pillow fight will be updated then as well.

It was a solid fantasy football week, it may have sucked for you but things are looking up in Altoona, PA... not the economy (not even close), but the Giants!
